Thomas Glyn Williams served as part of the 16th Battalion of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, which moved to France in November 1915 before fighting in the Battle of Albert and the Battle of Mametz Wood. Then, in 1917 William’s battalion participated in Battles of Ypres including the Battle of Pilckem Ridge and it is most likely that William’s died during one of the Battles of Ypres.
