Bu farw o niwmonia. Cafodd ei frawd, Sapper Lewis Davies, Royal Engineers, ei gassio yn Armentiers yn 1918, ond dychwelodd adre yn saff, a dechreuodd weithio yn Ysgol Cyngor Cwmtirmynach ger y Bala. Anafwyd brawd arall, David, Royal Garrison Artillery yn 1918, ond cyrhaeddodd o hefyd adref yn saff.// He died of pneumonia. His brother, Sapper Lewis Davies, Royal Engineers was gassed at Armentiers in 1918 but returned home safely, taking employment at Cwmtirmynach Council School near Bala. A second brother, Gunner David Davies of the Royal Garrison Artillery was wounded during the German offensive in 1918, he also returned home safely.
